Pet care experience
I have lived with two dogs in my house for my entire life. Each dog began in our house at around 4 months to one year old. I've personally cared for two separate dogs that weigh roughly 40 pounds and one dog that is roughly 65 pounds. I've taken care of my neighbors dogs, my friends dogs', stray dogs, dogs dogs. I just love dogs. I believe every dog deserves to be treated as nicely and lovingly as possible, and when their owners aren't home, I don't think that the dogs should stop getting that type of affection. My main goal is to make the dog feel so comfortable it never feels anxious without their owner. This will create a safe place for the dog and everyone will be happy in the end.

Matt is a fantastic choice as dog sitter! He is such an animal lover - and grew up with pets his entire life. He has a great, safe apartment in NYC that is dog friendly. Matt gets along with every dog he meets!! I would highly recommend him and trust him with my pets.
Matt is an animal lover, and I think he loves dogs best, although he loves cats too. Matt has grown up with dogs and cats his whole life. There has literally never been a day that Matt's family did not have a dog in the home. Many times, more than one dog and usually one cat. Matt has always shown love and caring for his pets. He is always happy to be with them, to walk them, to feed them, to just hang out with them. Many times, Matt picks them up and hugs them whenever he comes home. He is a patient dog walker, knowing that dogs need time to complete their walk, and knowing that sniffing around when on their walk is what the dogs need to enjoy a nice stroll. Matt wants a dog of his own, and he is hoping that someday soon he will have the time, and room, to have his own pet. He will be an excellent owner. I would recommend Matt to care for any type of dog or cat, he will be a compassionate caregiver. The dog or cat would appreciate his attention.
Matt is a very responsible young man. He has taken care of my dog in the past and has always made sure she has had enough food and water in her bowl at all times. He is aware of when walks are needed and has spent time playing with my dog every time he cared for her. Cocoa loves him!

A typical day
I live very close to the west side highway, which has a lot of nice paths right on the water going the entire length of Manhattan. It has a lot of nice park areas and grassy areas for the dog to play, as well as a few dog parks within 15 minutes of me. I have a bunch of tennis balls and other items that dogs would love to play with, so, if they are interested I would take them to the park near me with the fenced in tennis court and play fetch.
