I've known Matt for over 20 years, both personally and professionally. He is not only reliable, meticulous, and hard-working, but he also loves dogs -- so much so that I'd count it as one of his defining characteristics. (Others would include being punctual, an enthusiasm for sandwich condiments, and clear and concise communication.) While I don't have a dog myself, I have seen Matt take care of dogs belonging to friends. And every one of them (including each dog) was thrilled with his care. To get right to the point, Matt is a dog whisperer! He is patient, and goes above and beyond in their care & making sure they get the attention they deserve. There is no doubt in my mind that Matt will continue to make animals the priority in his life when they are in his care. Whether it’s dog-sitting at his own home for someone going out of town for over a week at a time, or just an afternoon walk for someone stuck at work, he always gives 200%. (And just to throw it in there in case anyone also has cats - he may not admit it, but he is pretty great with them too!)
