Pet care experience
While I don't currently have a dog, my ex-wife and I had a wonderful Goldendoodle together. We got her therapy trained, which says a lot about us and of the dog we had. It was a great experience, and this dog single handedly converted me to a dog lover.

Matt really has a great love and interest for dogs. When he had his last dog, he got it therapy-trained. He has patience and understanding when it comes to dogs. I truly feel he would be a great sitter and walker since he shows so much attention, love, and care.

I don't have a fenced in yard, but our apartment complex has a small dog-park, and another official dog park within 2 miles. I also understand the importance of a dog needing to be outside for walks for not only exercise, but for mental stimulation as well. I also love taking dogs on a card ride.

Information Matt H. would like to know about your pet
I need to know about dogs with special needs as I've had no experience with them. I'm most comfortable with common family dogs (poodles, labs, retrievers) as I've had great experience, but I'm very open to all breeds that are within my size preference. I get that all dogs bark, but being in an apartment, I need to be courteous of the neighbors, so a dog that isn't a habitual barker is very important.
A typical day
I will do what I did with my dog: take them for several walks & car rides. I will also take them to the dog park to socialize with other dogs. I will also have some toys for the dog to pay with, especially something that allows tug-of-war. In my experience, dogs love that as it's a bonding tool.

Availability
I currently work from home and am living alone, so I have some flexibility on the weekends. If I continue to do this, I will look at opening time during the week since I also hvae some flexibility in my current position.
