Pet care experience
I’ve been a dependable dog and pet sitter to my friends and family all my life. They’re a calming presence in my life and I do my best to provide them the same. I take their safety seriously and try to bring playfulness and comfort to their day to ease any separation anxiety they might have. I enjoy Rover as a part-time job that’s community focused. We’re neighbors in this community, so respect is key.

I treat pets the way I want my dog to be treated when I’m away. Conversational turns, play & fetch, or just running and getting all the smells. Houston gets incredibly hot so I bring ice water and a bowl with me on walks, but hopefully you’re fine with me cutting a walk short on 100+ days or if the dog is clearly distressed. I’d much rather get a bad review than endanger a pet!

Every dog has different boundaries and anxieties just like people. If they have any medical requirements I like to have emergency information before any visit as well.
A typical day
I am an active person and follow the dogs energy level. If we’re in a safe traffic-free area I will run with them to burn off excess energy. If you have specific needs for your dog, such as hitting a mile every walk, let me know and I’ll try to accommodate them!

Availability
I am starting a new job as a music teacher with an unpredictable schedule during school hours, so recurring walks are hard for me to accommodate right now. But there’s no harm in reaching out last minute to see if I’m available! I accept multiple walks a day, which can lead to delays if I’m traveling to multiple homes back to back. I’ll always communicate with you if I’m running late, but if a fifteen minute delay is unacceptable, or you absolutely need your dog on a locked schedule, let me know and I can negotiate with other owners to move their appointments around.
