Pet care experience
With a little over one years experience at an animal rescue, I am very familiar with dogs and their silly antics. I love to play and watch the goofy things they do, they truly are entertaining. I am more than willing to walk/run, play or just loaf around and relax with them during their nap time. I am well versed in cleaning up accidents and also giving medication if need be. I have worked with dogs ranging from tiny chihuahuas to an 80 lb german Shepard all in one environment. I fully understand that a dog is not just a pet, it is someone's best friend/family member and need to be treated so. I am reliable and take direction well should there be any special requests you have. I am attentive and available as well as flexible. I can guarantee that your pupper is gonna be well taken care of with me! In addition I currently live with 6 cats and have been around them all my life. I am very good with them so if a cat is also involved I can assure you it will be extremely well taken care of.

I needed a walker for my dog short notice and contacted Matt. He had no problem and even came over before the scheduled walk so he could meet my dog and learn any special handling tips. He was very pleasant and was always prompt with communication. If he wasn't moving, I would have kept him as my regular walker. My dog always seemed to enjoy his visits and looked forward to them. He will be missed and hope all goes well for him at his new home.
Matt was great! He found George escaped from his crate and cleaned up his mess, took him out and cleaned up his mess he made when he got back inside too! He changed the water for my cat and for my dog. Truly left George and cat in great hands and would love to have him back again.
Matt was nothing other than fabulous. He was very responsive to the dogs and to a nervous Mom; aka Me! He sent me daily text messages upon arrival and departure at our home and pictures of the pups as well. We could not have been happier and would highly recommend Matt.
Matt is truely an animal lover. I have three dogs (two boxers and an English bulldog). They tend to have a lot of energy. Matt is one of the only people I know who can calm them down and get them to act properly. I highly recommend him :)

I’ve cared for many types of animals. I currently have a cat who is very spoiled. She has so many toys but I can’t stop buying them with every chewy order I place. She is always provided with fresh, flowing water and an automatic feed dispenser. She is also fed wet food in the evening. Her litter box is always taken care of and she gets more love than I think she can handle. I’m very caring and affectionate towards animals and love nothing more than spending time with them.

I definitely would like to know about the dog's likes and dislikes/personality traits. Any dietary/medical instructions and important things like that. If the dog has a past of biting or where the dog likes to be touched and where not to be touched. What does your dog like to do? What does your dog need to stay away from and does it have any bad habits? E.g. Getting in the garbage, chewing on blankets/towels, frequent accidents in the house. How often does your dog need taken out to use the bathroom? Any ways to improve the experience for you and your dog? I want to make sure the dog is taken care of in every way possible and for you to have peace of mind.
A typical day
I would love to go to a local park to walk and play but a safe neighborhood will also be good. A nice backyard makes it ideal to play fetch or tug of war. I am also a big fan of playing "tag" and running around with the dog(s). I am very affectionate but understanding that not all dogs are fans of this. When it comes to winding down I am always ok with hanging around on the couch and watching Netflix while petting the dog or giving it any type of scratches/rubs it enjoys! I graduated with a BFA in photography and really enjoy taking photos of pets. I am a good communicator so trust me you will receive lots of photos and updates!

Availability
I currently work full time as an animal care specialist at a local school. I am available for walks in the evening. On my days off I am available all day long. I’ll take plenty of time to play with your pup, love on them and make sure they’re well cared for! I’m all about play time and exercise.
