I am profoundly blessed to possess a robust affinity for multiple types of animals - especially canines! In addition to performing my own research concerning canine breeds and basic canine psychology, I maintain two years of working professionally with a local canine-boarding organization (Kindred Spirit Pet Care) that intimately tends for families' treasured pet companions while their owners engage in various life activities. My professional experiences and responsibilities with canines include basic training, first-aid administration, canine medicinal management, welfare security among large groups of dogs temporarily residing together, canine grooming, exercise routines, and canine psychological empathy for traumatized individuals. I retain the attitude that a plethora of knowledge can still be gleaned from our wonderful four-legged companions - and with a student's curiosity, I will passionately seek to broaden my animal acumen.

Matt was fabulous. What a find! My pups loved him. In fact they’ve seemed a little depressed since he’s been gone. He sent me updates with photos each day and did everything I asked and more.
We thought the care for our two dogs was terrific considering one was a puppy not potty trained yet. Matt made sure we had communication every day and we could enjoy our vacation knowing the animals were well care for and someone was in the house. We will happily have him watch the dogs again.
Matt was excellent! He took Roger for long walks, communicated thoroughly and frequently. I knew Roger was in good hands. He left the home clean too!
Matt has repeatedly taken awesome care of our place and dog. Really great to host and work with!

Before performing any services at a client's residence (I can't host pets at my own home), I thoroughly establish issues of safety, trust, and environmental hazards during a prerequisite Meet and Greet appointment usually executed at the client's home. My potential client and I discuss care specifics over the course of the Meet and Greet while I carefully take notes of the provided information.

During the initial Meet and Greet appointment (before any services are performed), I inquire of the client pertinent information about the pet's behaviors/triggers, feeding regimen, medications and/or supplements, exercise needs, and any security issues concerning the client's home.
A typical day
Depending on the age and breed of a client's pet, I am willing to take dogs on long walks, visit close-proximity dog parks, play fetch or other entertaining games customized to the pet's personality, and provide proper socialization when needed.

Availability
I work minimal part-time hours with my father, but that work schedule doesn't interfere with me adequately performing my Rover duties for my clients and their pets.
