I've been around pets my entire life, but most of my actual dogsitting experience before Rover has been with two very large and energetic shepadoodles. Apollo (the blonde-haired one) is a total goof and hasn't quite seemed to figure out how to dog just yet, but he's got so much love to give, and I am one of his favorite people to share his affection with. Also, if you couldn't tell from the photo, Apollo is very much a lap dog. Unfortunately, I don't think he's realized how heavy he is. Quincy (the black-haired one) is more like a princess. He loves being pampered and will ask just about anyone to hold his paw and sit with him, but no one's affection can compare to his mom. He is such a momma's boy, oh my gosh. They are total opposites, but, despite the odds, still the best of buds. Every time we're on a walk, they trot along side by side, apart from when Apollo sees a human who has hands that could be petting him. Since starting as a Rover sitter, I've found my niche working with larger, more "aggressive" breeds, and I absolutely love it! In addition, I have sat for puppies and a sweet, sweet disabled dog, although I could definitely use more experience. My regular pups get so excited to see me, and that really makes this job worth it for me. ♥️ My experience caring for smaller dogs is much more limited, but I am looking to improve my puppy-loving skills in all areas and accommodate any needs you and your pup/s may have.
