Hello, my name is Mati, I am excited to be on this app and have the opportunity to meet your pets! A little about myself: I work full time as a bike mechanic but have had past jobs in the veterinary science field and thus very familiar with animals. I have been on Rover for a while now and have seen dogs with all sorts of demeanors and particularities. Right now I am living with my parents and their dogs in Crooked River Ranch in Terrebonne, OR. We have a big fenced off yard where the dogs hang out, a doggie door, and plenty of land for them to walk around and explore. We have 3 dogs, all small and non-reactive to other dogs. We would love to have your pet stay here! I am also available for drop in visits, dog-walking, and house sitting. I have had animals since I was 5. I've lived with animals in cities and in rural areas, and thus know how they react to their environment. One of my dogs, Clyde, is blind and I have experience specific to disabled, elderly dogs and their needs. I have also had an innumerable amount of cats and chickens. I have a lot of experience with reactive animals, and can address to their care and needs. Experience with animals: My day to day job at one point was with household pets. I used to work at Helping Hands, which operates on animals at an affordable price most vet facilities do not offer. I have experience with sorts of medical conditions, as well as knowledge on particularities of certain breeds. I am especially equipt as to how to respond to an emergency situation in regards to animals. Some more personal details, my extended family is from rural Montana and I have experience working on farms and in my Uncle's veterinary. I have been around big animals such as horses and cattle, as well as big dogs, and know how to care for their specific needs as well. (A lot of exercise and a tight grip) What Your Pet Would Do: Exercise! (If they like it). I am an avid athlete and love to take dogs on runs and long walks. If your dog isn't into that we would probably just hang out outside as much as possible and snuggle big time.
