Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs (big and small) and have always loved interacting with them, so my background will help me to be a great pet sitter! I like to stay active and enjoy going on runs and walks in my neighborhood. I would love to be able to include a dog that I am taking care of in any of the activities that I do! I have stayed in a house with family members who are current Rover sitters, so I understand the responsibilities that come with the job. I am prepared to provide exercise, fun, and any other necessities for any dog that I am looking after. I have lots of experience with big, energetic dogs, but I also enjoy looking after quieter dogs as well! I will be working completely from home for the foreseeable future and have a pretty flexible schedule, so I will be able to take a dog out to the bathroom or for a walk any time they need it!

Mateya did a fantastic job or looking after our 8 month old puppy for a week. Our dog doesn’t like being alone, still chews on things if she finds the opportunity and will have the occasional accident, but Mateya rose to the challenge. She took her out often, gave our dog lots of attention and let our puppy feel at home in her place. Mateya kept in constant contact with us so we never had to worry.
I requested her very last minute and she was prompt with her reply. Sophie my pup was tired, but happy when I went to get her at the end of the day. She had a couple of walks and seemed content with a fun day. I’ll be back for more with Sophie

Mateya is one of the best dog sitters I have ever known. She has such a natural way with dogs of all kind and can adjust based on the dog's needs. Mateya goes above and beyond making sure that the dog is returned to the owner happy, fed, and tired! Her space is ideal for dog sitting as there is a park across the street and a friendly, vegan roommate... the ideal household for an animal's wellbeing. You can be sure that your dog will be safe and happy during their time with Mateya.
