Please note* I require a minimum of 3 drop-ins per day if the stay is over multiple days. Please do not request me for 2 drop ins a day for more than 2 days. This is to ensure your pet receives the care and attention that they deserve while you're away. I have grown up with dogs in my family. I have taken care of my own dogs growing up and have been responsible for the care of family and friends dogs as well. Some of the responsibilities I have held before are: feeding, walking, bathing, enrichment (keeping animals engaged), training, and administering medicines including pills, injections, and creams. I also have had my dog since he was a pup and understand the frustrations that come with a non housetrained/crate trained dog. Whether your dog is a young pup or an old pal, I am happy to be kind and patient with their potty needs. I love dogs and always have. I enjoy taking pets in my care to parks, on adventurous walks on trails or by the water, on social outings or just staying in and cuddling up on the couch. I look forward to meeting your furry friend and finding out all the things that make their tail wag! I dog sit as a side job but what I don't do is provide minimal care to make a quick buck. My prices are low because good care for our pets shouldn't prevent someone from traveling or vacationing. I want my clients to feel comfortable leaving their pets with me and not fret about the cost. I am more than happy to work within a budget if you have one or find a way to get your pet as much time and care as possible.

Can’t thank Mason enough for helping out with dog sitting for our wedding. He was kind enough to bring the dogs to and from the venue for us so they could be in pictures! His communication is always amazing we are so glad we have found him!

Pets in my home have access to every space but if there are spaces you prefer them to be kept out of, I have portable gates that can be put up or taken down as needed. I have two dogs in my home which can also accompany me to your home, if you're comfortable. Both are friendly with most dogs but I always prefer a meet and greet to make sure I can provide the care your family needs. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and do not have a fenced yard. Dogs at my home can enjoy long walks or trips to the enclosed fenced area in my complex. At your home, walks or trips to a fenced in yard are easily accomdatable. In any space, indoor or outdoor, the rule is: off leash - in sight. Even indoors, pets will remain under my watchful eye to prevent accidents of any kind.

Please note: I prefer to be booked for a house sit or boarding if you plan to leave for several days. I believe pets deserve more care and attention than 2/3 30 min drop ins just to be let out and fed. Generally, booking as either house sitting (at your home) or dog boarding (at my home) is cheaper than multiple drop ins each day. I would much prefer to take the time to give your dog the care and love they need than making a quick buck by only spending the bare minimum of time with them. This is just a personal preference for me. Please feel free to message me to inquire about your family's specific needs. Do they have any allergies or foods that should be avoided? How do they handle inclement weather (I live in Florida, and Thunder can be scary!) Do they suffer from any anxiety? Have they been in someone else's care before? I would like to know if they have any aggression (toy aggressive, food aggressive, leash aggressive, aggressive towards a particular breed, etc) I would like to know if they have any training behaviors you'd like to be worked on while I am with them. Any specific manners that you'd like them to avoid, for example, no jumping on people.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks in some of the best parks and trails. I also would be happy to take your pup out and about or simply stay in and relax. When your dog is in my care, I treat them as my own and take them wherever I would normally take my own dog. Tampa is great for dog friendly venues and activities. If one comes up during your pup's stay, I'd enjoy bringing them with me if they would enjoy joining me.

Availability
The needs of animals in my care are a priority. Dogs and cats that are used to being left at home during the work day (crated or otherwise) fit seamlessly into my schedule. When I am working from home, round the clock care and play is to be expected! I try to limit the length of time between potty breaks - it isn't fun for anyone when a pet has to hold their bladder for too long! When I am home, I like spending time with pets in my care. Whatever activities they enjoy can usually be incorporated into my schedule.
