Pet care experience
I have two cats of my own, Mayson and Maverick. Mayson is 1(female) and Maverick is 5(male)! Growing up I had dogs so I was very exposed to the responsibilities of taking care of pets since around 10 years old. I have plenty of experience with walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and cat boarding through family, friends, and coworkers. Taking care of my pets is my number one priority so I absolutely understand wanting/needing a safe and healthy environment for your pet/pets. I treat others’ pets as if they were mine!

Mary Grace watched our two dogs through some difficult times where me and my partner had to make some unexpected trips. With everything else it was so nice not to have to worry about our pups. She was wonderful and would text us pictures of our dogs both out on walks and just hanging out. I’m so grateful for her caring nature and thoughtful communication. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else, she is the best.
MaryGrace has been caring for my cats for over a month now, and I can say she’s fantastic! I don’t worry about them at all while they’re in her care. She’s incredibly communicative, always letting me know right away when there are any questions or problems. She sends me plenty of photos and updates. I can tell my cats are happy in her care. I would definitely recommend MaryGrace to anyone with pet-sitting needs!
Mary Grace was the absolute best dog sitter we could have asked for! She watched our two big (60 & 100 lbs), reactive dogs multiple times and they were always happy and well cared for when we returned. Mary Grace was very attentive to their needs as reactive dogs and always went the extra mile for them. She regularly sent us photos and updates and asked our permission before posting our cuties on social media. As an added bonus, she always made sure our home was cleaner than we left it. If we hadn’t moved away, Mary Grace would still be our top choice in dog sitters! I highly recommend her for anyone looking to treat your furry friends like family.
MaryGrace took care of my cat, Buddy, for a whole month! My cat gets super lonely so I was stressed to find someone to take care of him. Since I would be gone for so long I wanted to find someone nice enough to take him into their house. I got a very quick response from her that she would take care of him. I was just happy I got her to take care of him in such a short notice. I had a month long business trip, so i felt a huge relief that Buddy would be looked after by such a caring person. She gave me daily updates and snapshots of him. She is great with communication. She is super fast at responding. When I got back into town to pick Buddy up it seemed like he didn’t want to leave since he loved staying with her so much. If I ever have to get someone to look after my cat, it would 100% be her.

I live in an apartment complex in SE Austin off E Riverside area. There are two dog parks and I live fairly close to the Lady Bird Lake walking trails and Roy G Guerrero park. My apartment is on the larger side for a one bedroom with plenty of room for large or small animals. I am available to board cats at mine any day of the week as my two cats are very relaxed and accepting of other cats. I’ve done this a few times and as long as your baby is kind, there are no problems at all.

It is very important for me to know if any of the animals have allergies. Whether minor or major, I would like to know. I’d also like to know if your pet shows any type of reaction to specific behavior or environments. Does your dog bark at people, cars, squirrels, while we’re out walking? Does your dog pull while walking on a leash? How does your dog/cat react to seeing unfamiliar people? Does your dog show any type of aggression towards other dogs?
A typical day
I like to do whatever your pet’s favorite activity is. If they have a favorite toy they love to play with or a specific walking route, we’ll do just that. I feel it is important for animals to keep their routine they’re comfortable with. If an animal is more willing to experience new things without being over stimulated, I’d love to try a new path or a new park!

Availability
I work for Travis County Parks so I work a 4/3 schedule, 7am-5pm. My off days are Thursday-Saturday meaning I am free all day for those three days! I am very flexible with times on these days and there’s nothing better than spending them playing with other furbabies. If needed, I am available Sunday-Monday for drop-ins or late walks from 7pm-10pm depending on the location.
