At Home Full Time with Your Dog

Pet care experience

My name is Maryanne. I am retired and available all day…Fully vaccinated for Covid-19. Provide professional care and tons of love for your dog. Miles of daily walks in the Chestnut Hill Park and at the Reservoir lake across from my building. The building has a large backyard for the dog's emergency potties. My apartment is carpeted, and I can't take dogs that occasionally pee in the house. Dog suffering incontinence can't be placed for the same reason. I usually don't allow potty in-house on a potty pad. I live in a building with neighbors. My neighbors will not tolerate excessively barking dogs. I don't take puppies up to 1,3 years old. SENIOR DOGS CARE (13 YEARS OLD DOGS AND UP) THERE IS A SPECIAL RATE FOR SENIOR DOGS (13 age and older). I charge $56 per dog if a senior dog (boarding only, not walking) has some special care requirements like elaborated medication treatment and frequent walks in the backyard. It's additional work. My house with a lake and park across the street is a paradise for dog lovers: plenty of playing and running space, plenty of new dog friends to meet. I miss my diseased by age dogs, and your dog will be the whole center of my love and attention. I have years of experience in handling all kinds of dogs. My experience let me be good at reading your dog's visual signals and understanding your dog's mind pretty well. I don't have my own car now, but I could administer medications if necessary. I have extensive experience dealing with dogs' anxieties, diarrheas, and alike problems. I took dogs for 1-2 hours walks three times a day depending on the dog's age, needs and preferences. I walked dogs usually in a park and around a lake. I would love your dog like my own. Why do I love dog sitting? My last dog Shandy passed away due to old age and cancer a couple of years ago. I miss having a dog in my house. I miss the dog's snoring and sighing in sleep next to my bed. I miss their mischiefs. And most of all, I miss my daily walks with a dog around the lake. I was interested in dog psychology and read extensively about research in that field. I don't have my own pets right now. I don't take more than one dog at a time. I don't have pets at home and your dog will be the only center of my love and attention. Please, note, charges through Rover work similar to hotels charges for 24 hours only. Any extension for a drop-off or pick up time will require additional payments. I live in one-bedroom apartment and could take only one dog at a time for in-home service. I have my own car in need of emergency and I could administer medications if necessary. I took dogs for 1-2 hours walks from 2 to 3 times a day depending on the dog's age, needs and your preferences. I walked my dog usually in a park and around a lake. Your dog will be loved by my care... Why I love dog sitting? My last dog Shandy passed away due to old age and cancer last October. I miss having a dog in my house. I miss dog's snoring and sighing in sleep next to my bed. I miss dog stretching front legs in the morning ready to play. I miss their baby smell when they feel good about life. And most of all I miss my daily walks with a dog around the lake. I was interested in dog's psychology and read extensively about research in that field. I believe I could often read their mind. About my yard I live in a building, but I have a nice park and lake just across my building. The building has a backyard for the dog's emergency potties. My experience in administering medication Yes, I did it many times.

My dog Brady and I love Maryanne and have known her for many years. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and puts them at ease. We look forward to Brady staying with her again soon.

We had a great stay with Maryanne! Our 25 lb poodle mix spent a week with her. We got daily messages and pictures. They often walked around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. Her messages conveyed a true love for dogs and she seemed to connect well with our pup. I recommend her highly.

This was my first time looking for a sitter for my dog. I had concerns finding a sitter that has experience with his breed (not a common one). I initiated communication with Maryanne and scheduled a meet and greet. Maryanne was responsive and prompt from my first contact with her. She was confident and assured me of her experience with my dog's breed. When boarding my dog with Maryanne, she sent daily pictures and updates. I was relieved to see them and know that he was looking well and happy. She was communicative and responsible and took care of my dog as her own. She easily incorporated our schedule for our dog, his daily needs, and adapted them to find a happy balance for them both. It was a delight to see him get her undivided attention and affection, without the presence of any other dog. My family and I are grateful that despite this being our first experience, it went so well. Our dog is happy and well after returning back to us, which that is the best thing any pet owner can ask for. I whole-heartedly recommend Maryanne and will book with her again in the future.
