Loving caregiver for your pet

Pet care experience

I'm the one who usually takes care of our little dog that we've had two years. We also have two cats in our home. We've taught our dog basic commands and I've given oral medication to both our cats and dogs. I also grew up on a farm where we bred border collies and had other dogs, so I've had experience with both smaller and active, herding breeds.

Mary is a dependable, gentle and fun-loving dog caregiver. She loves being outside, going on walks and exploring woods and parks. She takes great care of her very well-loved dog, Gilbert, and has cared for a good friend's Australian Shepherd during a multiple day vacation. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for high-quality dog care.

Mary loves "all creatures great and small," to quote the title of a famous book & television series. I've observed, first hand, that she is committed to providing for BOTH the physical and emotional needs of animals. She is aware that animals have their own personalities and therefore have different needs. Her spacious, fenced back yard is a wonderful place for pets. Anyone looking for a healthy/nurturing place for their pet, will be pleased with Mary and her care of your animal.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a fenced yard for daytime visits. I've lived in the area for a while and so I'm familiar with Seattle neighborhoods as well as the suburbs north of Seattle. I know where to go for interesting walks and where the better (read: calmer) dog areas are located.

Information Mary W. would like to know about your pet

It's important to know if your dog has any anxieties about other dogs or people. I want to make sure your dog is happy and not overly stressed being in a new environment.

A typical day

I love to play ball with dogs and let them run in dog parks. There's a calmer dog park nearby where I bring our small dog. We also like to hang out on the beach where digging is allowed.

Availability

I'm currently a stay at home mom and can easily fit in taking care of your pet during the week and on weekends. My dog would love the companionship and my son loves meeting new pets (he might be with me sometimes). Dogs that don't do well with other dogs seem to warm up to our little dog, too.
