They’re your family, so let me treat them like family while you’re away! I have owned and cared for animals all of my life. I had Belle (cat) for my first 17 years and had my chocolate lab in 4-H by the time I was 10. When I lived in Sitka, Alaska, I was the on-call sitter, even caring for the local vet's 7 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 giant umbrella cockatoo (she was my favorite hiking buddy). I would typically live in my clients home and care for their dogs as if they were my own for up to 30 days at a time. Now I live in Coupeville with my own fur babies - Dobby the mastiff and Meow Meow the former garage kitty. I am very well versed in administering medications as Dobby and Brock, my late Doberman, require daily meds. I truly love spending my time with animals, of all kinds. I've cared for many species of animals from dogs & cats to chinchillas, chickens, and even a house pig. I've even raised baby salmon!
