Pet care experience
Animals have a tendency to trust me on site. Cats, dogs, horses, bunnies, you name it. I think it’s because they can sense how much I love their unique personalities and don’t just rely on animal stereotypes. All pets have their own persona and I love getting to see that shine through. I’ve grown up with cats and dogs and currently have my own cat, but no dog due to apartment size. I have dog sit for friends and family for many years, and have recently started doing the same for pet owners on Wag! and Rover. I love it.

Maggie has been employed with my family for a few years now. We have two dogs. One border collie lab mix the second a chihuahua/terrier mix. My Chihuahua/terrier mix is very slow to warm up to new folks if ever at all. Maggie's patients and kindness had won him over rather quickly. My husband and I were shocked how quickly he warmed up to her. If you are looking for someone who has the patients and kindness for your shy/scared/aggressive dog I strongly recommend you start here. There is no better part of my doggies days than when Maggie comes to pick them up! We also hire Maggie for when we are out of town. She took great care of our house and dogs. Our dogs were worn out after playing with Maggie for a week straight and the house looked amazing. My husband and I could not have found a better caregiver.
Maggie was a great dog sitter. She stayed at our home, took great care of our pup, and made sure to send us updates along the way. Any concerns she had with our pup’s schedule or resolve, she made us aware of. She made us feel like our pup was in good hands and that left us without worry. Maggie fed, walked, and played with our little pup. She sent texts with cute Millie videos. This made us feel even better since this was our first time leaving her. If it’s any indication of her ability, our pup barely seemed to miss us when we finally got home. Both us and the pup love Maggie and appreciate the time and care she took. I can’t recommend Maggie more! She’s the best!
