Pet care experience
I am a qualified. vastly experienced veterinary nurse with over twenty five years experience working in both Europe and the United States. I qualified from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London and spent my career working in both general and emergency veterinary medicine. I had a particular love for surgery and internal medicine. I moved to Tampa in 2009. I am highly competent in administering medication to pets requiring injections and pills. Pets with special needs present no problem. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and have owned several in my lifetime. Although I am currently without a dog in my life, I am mom to two kitty cats named Yorick and Horatio. Any pet under my care receives loving attention and lots of hugs. I am happy to care for any pet including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and various other pocket pets.

However, I would like to know if the dog has any behavioral issues such as severe separation anxiety or a propensity to eat or attack furniture when left alone! If there is any medical condition, it is important to me that I am fully informed about this. My veterinary knowledge is of enormous help here.
A typical day
I realize that pet owners choose to go with pet sitters because they don't want their pets stressed while being in a cage at the boarding kennel. But even so , pets can get lonely while their parents are away. It is my goal to make sure that their fur babies receive lots of love and attention, cuddles and game time. I will keep my clients updated on their baby's welfare and would like to believe that while my clients are out of town, their babies become mine for a short while.
