Hi! I'm 32 years old and came to Athens to obtain a masters degree in 2018. I joined Rover because I LOVE animals and was hoping to make a little extra money to help pay the bills and feed my pup, Penny. I've had animals my whole life, except the 4 years in undergrad when I was stuck in a dorm. I wish Rover existed then! I adopted Penny the summer after I graduated and have loved being her mom ever since! Recently, my partner and I adopted a kitten who is now a rambunctious one year old. I've dog/cat- sat for friends just for the joy of it. I will happily love on your animals too, whether with walks, trips to the park, or playing at your house. Animals are drawn to me, probably because I am drawn to them! So much better than people! This summer, I’m working full time but want to offer services in case people are in need. I work 5 days a week (off Thursday/Sunday typically) from 8-4:30, but I’d be happy to try to care for your fur babies around these times. I was recently blessed with a new teaching job which begins in mid August. Looking ahead, I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to offer Rover services once I’m fully engaged in the school schedule.
