Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was 12 which is when I got my first dog who just recently passed at 16 years old. I currently have a 3 year old female golden doodle which I also care for. I've known Mary for many years and can confidently vouch for her as an excellent dog sitter. She's great with dogs of all sizes, and both loving and patient when watching, playing, and of course giving them scratches. Mary is both highly dedicated and responsible when it comes to taking care of her own and other people’s pets, and I've personally seen her go above and beyond to make sure everybody is well taken care of in her care. Just last weekend, Mary was sweet enough to watch my husky mix Kiki for a few hours while I needed to run to my cousin's house for an emergency. She kept me updated and made sure I didn't have another thing to worry about! I always feel incredibly comfortable leaving my baby with Mary. Her compassionate nature, combined with her experience of taking care of our pets makes her the ideal dog sitter.
I have been Mary’s friend since high school. Throughout the years, she has been the person to take care of my dog on special occasions where I am away on family vacations. We often get together and go to the dog beach or dog park on the weekends. She is great around all types of dogs, big or small! For my birthday last year, she gifted me a blanket that had a picture of my late childhood dog Aiko and my new dog Penny. I mention this because it shows how caring and thoughtful Mary is about other’s furry family. She knows how much they mean to their owner, as she does her own! I am thankful to have her offer her time to take care of my dog, and I know my dog loves it. She will be taking care of my dog for a week this summer.

Having use pet sitting services myself (on Rover and third party boarding) I understand how trust is so important. I strive to be communicative and provide the best experience for both the pet and the owner. I have a fenced yard to keep your pet safe. I have a playful 3 year old golden doodle to keep your pet company and to play with during their stay. I would need to understand any specific pet care needs in advance of booking as well as any aggression issues if applicable.

I am happy to administer oral medication. An extra fee may be charged depending on the difficulty such as oral injectable vs a pill. I would l to know about the dog’s general behaviors and moods. I can easily adapt to their needs.
A typical day
I will take your pet in multiple walks, have dedicated playtime and take them to the dog park near my house weather permitting. Your pet may also go with me to a brewery or restaurant if permitted. I like to take my pets with me everywhere I can if we’ll behaved!

I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to play with your pup and given them all the attention needed! I have the ability to provide multiple walks a day, take them to the nearby dog park if allowed and play with them as much as needed!
