I had to learn so much about dog training when we brought our puppy into our family. My motto was "Set Her Up for Success!" - which meant that I had to put in the work to give her a fighting chance of being a good girl. Our bond was built on trust and respect. We go on adventures and would do the same with your pet. I've had my cats for 4 years and they are uniquely social. That said, I've had cats who want to hide in fear, and that's okay too! We have cat treats and wet food to lure them out of tight spots, and patience when they just won't relax. Look forward to helping you with your animals!! I completely understand the need to leave for vacations, and working 8 hours straight without having the flexibility to take 30 minutes out of the day to walk.
