Hi! My name is Mary! I have worked in vet clinics for over 6 years now as a veterinary assistant! I currently work at an animal hospital locally in Muncie. I have a degree in Biology as a recent graduate from Ball State. I have a dachshund and shih tzu mix at home as well as two cats! I am very dependable, flexible, and caring. My continuous veterinary experience is also beneficial as to if something were wrong with any pets under my supervision. I know how to administer all medications. I am understanding of dogs/cats with special needs/conditions. I am very quick to notice if a pet isn’t feeling well, as well as knowing which steps to take to help the pet. I love exercising, so I don’t mind sitting dogs with a lot of energy.

Mary has watched our dogs many times and is by far the best we have ever used. She is studying to become a vet and is very conscientious about our pets. Woofie loves her. Our prior doggos Sadie, Bernie and Flash loved her too. She is great with large dogs and small dogs. She truly loves them like they were her own. Mary is very dependable and responsive. 5 stars all around!
Mary is one of the best pet sitters I have every had. She treats every pet like her own. She is studying to be a vet, and this gives me peace of mind with my animals because she knows to looks for certain things before they are serious. Woofie loves spending time with her, and he is not friendly to everyone. But Mary has a special place in my dogs heart. She is not intimidated by his size at all. He loves when she comes over to play and “rompus”. She is reliable and has been a lifesaver on short notices when I have gotten held over at work. Woofie loves it when Mary comes over and doesn’t even really miss me while she is there. She is like family.

I have a full house in my home so most of my services will be provided in the clients home! I feel this is less stressful on the animal as well. I am capable of spending time playing with your pet as well as just relaxing and providing comfort.

I will sit any breed of dog! I would only need to know about any medications, behavior issues, etc. I have a feisty dog of my own so I know it isn’t always easy with every dog.
A typical day
Visits by me consist of priority care, playtime with toys or activities, and plenty of belly rubs! I am able to go on walks with your pet to Minnetrista or on the local trails.
