Pet care experience
I absolutely love dogs! I have never had a dog of my own, but I am friend’s go-to dog sitter or walker. When dog sitting, I have been responsible for walking, feeding, and occasionally spending a few hours at the house to give the dog some company. I grew up with cats, so if you happen to have one, I can also take care of them too. I currently work as a special education teacher and would love to have a second job spending time with furry friends!

Mary made my dog so happy! She watched my 14 year old beagle, Bailey for a week while my family was on vacation. Because of her age, Bailey requires a lot of supervision and care and Mary had to feed her twice a day and give her medicine at each meal. When we returned Bailey was very happy and she gets excited whenever she sees Mary now! We're definitely going to have Mary back next time we go away!!

Mary's attributes making her suitable to be an astounding pet sitter also have allowed her to care for small children, which she also excels at. I only go to client’s homes when I am sitting. I always make sure I develop trust with the pet when I first meet them. I make sure I follow care instructions as closely as possible so that the pet’s daily routine is not changed too much while their owners are away.

A typical day
I love to walk around, so if you have a high-energy dog, I’m the sitter for you. I also enjoy playing fetch or a nice game of tug-of-war. Belly rubs and cuddling with dogs is also fun!

Availability
I currently work as a special education teacher, so doing an afternoon or night drop in or walk works best for me. I am also available all day on the weekend.
