I am a Speech-Language Pathologist in Chicago looking to earn some extra money and spend time with your lovely pets! I was previously working through Rover in Iowa City, IA and Nashville, TN while I was a graduate student, but wanted to take this work with me because I loved it so much! I am back in the Chicago area working professionally throughout the week with more flexible schedules this summer and Friday-Sunday. I have had pets my whole life and have watched a ton of cats and dogs through Rover. I am very comfortable around animals and will love your pets like my own.

Mary was an incredible sitter! We our original plan for our dog during our wedding weekend fell through, Mary gladly accepted our request. She listened intently during the meet and greet and both dogs loved her. Both dogs were so happy when we got back. Would definitely hire her again!

I share my apartment with my partner who is also a dog lover. Our home is near Wrightwood park. We have a 2 floor home spanning 1500 square feet, giving plenty of space for your pet to play. I also have a car to travel to your home to take your pets out for a walk or stay with them.

Are they house trained? I am comfortable working with pets that are not house trained, but would love to know ahead of time. How much time can they spend alone? As mentioned I work during the day on weekdays, but can check in with them as soon as I’m off. Are they okay around other dogs? I have friends in the city that like to walk their dogs, and if they would be a good socialization opportunity for your pet I would love to bring them with!
A typical day
I love walking despite any type of weather. I am midwestern born and raised, so I am not afraid of the cold and rain. I will find a park near your home and take them for as long as you are comfortable with.

Availability
My availability for Rover for the rest of the school year is as follow: After 6pm Monday-Wednesday, after 1pm Friday, and free all weekend long. My schedule for the summer will change, but should be more flexible. I will update and inform you as soon as possible!
