Both as a pet owner and nanny, I have cared for a myriad of furry friends from barn cats to slobbering St. Bernards, tiny Teacup Yorkies to escape artist Great Pyrenees. I have convinced the laziest of Basset Hounds to go on long walks, administered medicine to a Newfoundland who could find the pill no matter how giant the scoop of peanut butter hiding it was and played fetch with rescue dogs for hours on end.
