Pet care experience
I have had around 20 years of personal dog ownership experience. My family lives in a house with a fenced in yard that is about an acre. We do live on a main road in case that is a concern for animals with anxiety, however our back yard is set away from the road and the noise is not much of an issue. I have two boys who are 10 & 14 years old who both love dogs and are responsible for caring for our own dogs. We have 4 dogs of our own who get along splendidly with the other dogs that visit. I often have more than 1 dog here and have had no issues. In fact it is a very effective way at socializing dogs in a safe and supervised environment. This is not a kennel in any way. The dogs that come here enjoy being in our living space with us and getting attention like they normally would in their own home. In short, your dog(s) will receive plenty of attention, exercise, and tender loving care. Our township currently has a pit bull ban so I cannot accept them due to the liablity. I work a very part time job so Im home the majority of the time, including all weekend. Dogs are always under my close supervision. I have a fully fenced in yard and 4 very well socialized dogs of my own who love to make new friends. Fresh water is always available. Dog pools and sand boxes are available as well as several dog water bowls and toys.

Mary was so gracious with all my needs and concerns. She had a pig group there the weekend they boarded, and I was a little concerned about Amos, who can be dog shy and protective. I could tell both dogs had a great time. My Mattie was not ready to leave when I picked up on Monday. Mattie's kids were affectionate and kind qith my dogs. Her property was Adventureland for them, with plenty of things to sniff and discover. The yard was xlean of droppings even with so many to look after. Thank you, Mary, for all the care you took with my babies.
Kiwi absolutely loved playing with the other dogs in the backyard during her stay. Plentiful room to run, explore, and discover! Also appreciated that Mary had a crate for Kiwi to sleep in so we didn't have to bring our own. Kiwi can't wait to come back!
Very late on this review. Mary was very accommodating and boarded my elderly dog over Thanksgiving. Unfortunately I found the distance to be too far. Thank you Mary, I wish you were closer.
