Pet care experience
I have had a dog for most of my life and since our Jack (17 yrs) passed, my husband and I miss the company of a dog. When we were teaching, we had a senior look after her and she was so happy there. We would like to pay it forward.. We will follow the rules and routines your dog is used to, and we will treat your dog as if it our own. We live in a dog friendly condo bordering a park for walks. We have a dog stroller if needed. We are comfortable staying in your home if convenient for you or if you have more than one dog or a large dog. Distance is no object for larger blocks of time.

There is not enough space to rave about Mary-Lee and Dave. They Rock. My dogs love them (more than me, I think - perspective).

We were VERY nervous about finding someone we don’t know to watch our Misty.. we found Mary-Lee and Dave and before meeting them already thought we found a perfect fit after talking to them. Before the sit, we met them and knew they were amazing people. While we were away they sent us pics of Misty and kept in contact and we knew she was in great hands. We are SO glad to have met them and are so comfortable with them.. we found Misty’s home away from home ❤️ A huge thank you to your guys and I would recommend them over and over again!

No breed preferences. I would want to know about behavioral issues eg. chewing, marking, nipping. Also, if we are boarding a dog, we can't have a dog that barks a lot. We are in a dog-friendly condo,but still want to respect our wonderful neighbors. Of course, some barking is expected.
A typical day
We will walk around the small lake by our place and in the nearby park. Happy to go to the dog park if the owner agrees. We also can visit our daughter's farm.
