Hi there! I'm Mary and I've been a dog-enthusiast my whole life. I grew up with a happy lot of golden retrievers and I'm certified to foster in the DC area, but now I want to expand my experience to pet-sitting! When it comes to my approach to spending time with animals, I believe in positive reinforcement and compassionate care. I know that animals are members of the family and I make sure to treat them the way I would a child when you leave them in my care. I'll be reachable and responsive at all times and I promise to care for your dog the way I would my own. I look forward to working with you and I can't wait to meet your precious pups!

I would like to know your policy towards pets on the furniture. I'll defer to what you let your dog do in your home in setting the rules in mine. I'd also like to know if your pup has any fears or anxieties so I can make sure that the environment is as welcoming as possible.
A typical day
I'm a walking enthusiast! I live in Capitol Hill, home to many a pup and dog park. If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, we'll probably go hang out in Lincoln Park on weekend mornings so s/he can run around and play! Otherwise, a nice long walk through the picturesque Capitol Hill neighborhoods is in order.
