Hello! My name is Mary Kate and I am a huge animal lover. I have my own beautiful year and a half old Siberian husky that keeps me on my toes and active before and after work. I have experience raising him since he was six weeks old.. he had been attacked by another dog when we just 4 weeks old at the breeders and so I learned very quickly how to administer medication and tend to his needs at his early stages of life. I see it as we all go through rough patches in our lives so I wanted to give this incredible pup the opportunity to thrive through my tender love and care. He has since grown to become an incredibly social animal, super friendly, and incredibly intellligent to the extent of retrieving his leash and handing it to me when he needs to go potty outside. He is my best friend and I love taking him to the dog beach and exploring all that NSB has to offer. He is very well socialized and obedient around other furry friends. Previous to Cuno, I had a cockapoo named Corduroy that gave me the best of his 16 years of life.. He became blind and developed arthritis in his hips, so I assisted him by carrying him outside every few hours and administering oral medication up until his last day.. he was my everything from the day I convinced my parents into adding him to our family. I taught him how to play dead, roller over, retrieve the newspaper from the end of the driveway (it was adorable to see such a small pup enthusiastically attempt to drag the Sunday paper to the front door.. multiple times he would grab the wrong end and we would have to go help him compile the paper to bring to the door lol) but I love investing time into animals that are eager to do whatever it takes to make us happy in return. They really are family. I am available most weekday nights after work and free on most weekends for boarding. I do live in a two bedroom apartment with one room fully dedicated to any pups needing a place to stay overnight.
