I have an adorable 4 year old Maltese poodle named Loki. I am obsessed with dressing him in Christmas sweaters and believe it or not he loves it too. My oldest sister also has a beagle mix, Winston, and I stay at her condo and dog-sit for her every time she goes out of town for work. I do have one reoccurring client for dog-sitting. I stay at their home at least 4 times a year with their two dogs while they're on vacation. Their daughter usually leaves her dog with me too, so I am experienced at caring for more then two dogs!(and they are large loving doggies) Enough of my history and onto the important stuff; Why do you want me caring for your very special fur ball? First of all, you can go to work guilt free and with the peace of mind knowing your doggie's needs will be taken care of. I wont just make sure the dog gets what he needs physically but also emotionally which is just as important to your pooches wellbeing. I can't be in the proximity of a dog and not want to hug it, so rest assured your doggie will feel no lack of love from me. I truly believe dogs are very keen and intelligent creatures. They can feel when humans are upset or just not happy. My promise to you is that when I'm responsible of your dog, my mind and energy is on your dog and nothing else. In a way this is why I am so passionate about dogcare. I love being with animals because there is this mutual understanding of companionship minus all the judgement and other icky stuff for which humans are known. So honestly a job where I get to spend one on one time with different dogs everyday is super therapeutic and makes me second think who should be paying who... I'm a very outgoing and confident person and I'm told all the time that I'm a people's person. My point being I work at Starbucks downtown in the west loop and I deal with people all the time. Although I'm good at it, it gets tiring after time. That's why walking dogs on the side is a great set up for me. The perfect break from the normal line out the door, one customer after another shindig. Just know I will love your dog as much as you do and I will treat them as my own while they are under my care. You can always count on me being on time and extra cheerful. My apologies for the biography, I can't can't stop myself when it comes to the subject of dogs!
