Both of us work from home and have a nice fenced yard. We live adjacent to a great park for great walks. We just finished caring for a family dog for 15 years. We enjoy loving and caring for dogs on a temporary basis, as it fills our home with the incomparable energy of a canine. I have a lot of love and attention to give. If your dog is friendly to other dogs, we have plenty of dog friends. Your dog is sure to have a comfortable, active stay with us. We do not have any other animals in our house, so your dog will be our priority. As long as your dog can be alone for periods of time during the day (not long,) we'll get along great.

Our first weekend away in a while - was so glad Mary Jo was free to watch Pippen again. 1. Pippen loves them and 2. As a crazy dog mom it’s incredibly reassuring knowing she’s in good hands and I don’t need to worry about her all weekend! Got pictures and updates and now she was well taken care of ☺️.
Mary Jo and Jim are amazing! Mack stayed with them for 2 1/2 weeks. We got so many photos of Mack having a total ball- great communication, and we knew he was being so loved. I can't recommend them enough!

I enjoy having a conversation with you about your dog. I like meet-n-greets too, as they really seem to put both parties at ease with the arrangements being made. I like to ask what a typical day if like for your dog. I like to e able to emulate that as much as possible, so I like to know about the "nature" of your furry loved one. We give your dog one-on-one attention as we are not sitting more dog than one. I like to give them as much time as I can at first so they transition well into our home. I will exercise him/her regularly, because I like to exercise regularly. I can work with any "idiosyncrasies" that your dog might have....let's just discuss them up front.
A typical day
We will take walks in the park behind our house. This park is full of activity. There is a creek, a playground, an off-leash area and sidewalks and bike trails. We have a large yard where "Rover" can chew on bones, chew-toys or sit in the sun.
