Having been a pet owner, I know the happiness and special bond we have with our canine family members. Like children, they want unconditional love and attention with gentle correction. The beauty of this is they give it right back! I have loved and cared for many. I have tended wounds and stitches, brushed and pampered, prepared special diets and given pills to the cleverest. I live in a quiet neighborhood with no through streets for walks or we can stay home and play in the backyard. When we leave our pets they miss us and fear we are not coming back.
