Xp w/ hearing loss, dog cuddle bud!

Pet care experience

We have always had pets in my life as a family but as i got older into my teen years I was usually the one family and family friends asked to take care of pets if they were away. I’ve taken care of dogs with hearing and sight disabilities as well as older dogs. My own dog actually has an artificial tendon in one of his front legs that causes him to have a hard time moving around sometimes. I also grew up in the country so I have experience with horses, cows, goats, and chickens.

Safety, trust & environment

Given my experience with dogs with disabilities, I never let a dog out of my sight for too long especially if they are outside. I am super used to feeding dogs separately if they don’t like eating around other dogs.

Information Mary G. would like to know about your pet

If your dog has any special needs please let me know, I have no problem with giving medicine. If your dog has any issues with a neighbor’s dog that is very important or if they dong like being touched in certain spots.

A typical day

I have a lot of experience in dog sitting with older dogs so with them I typically let them chill out if they want. My own dogs are younger and higher energy so I can pretty much do anything you and your dog want me to do whether thats a walk through your neighborhood and park or going out to any other dog park.

I work part time and go to university the ability to walk or do check ins between shifts and breaks between classes is no problem! For house sitting my work shifts are usually 4.5 hours but could extend to 6 hours. I work two jobs. One is only once or twice a week usually on the weekends where I start around 10:30 until 4:30. Second job can be daytime or nighttime depending on what is needed. Daytime would be 10:30 to about 2 and nighttime would be 4:30 to 9 on weekday night and 4:30 to 11 on weekend nights. This changes weekly so if we need to talk and figure out times for walking please message me! My classes are Tuesday-Thursday and are from around 9am to 12:15 except Thursday where a class ends at 4.
