Pet care experience
I have about 7 years of professional and 15 years of personal experience with a variety of different household pets. I have owned dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and rodents of all sorts over my lifetime. My work experience includes dog walking/pet sitting, caring for dogs at a doggy daycare/boarding facility, caring for animals at several animal shelters in Central Texas and Northern California and caring for pets at a boarding facility in a vet clinic. I am currently a veterinary technician at a traveling spay and neuter clinic, so let me know your needs as far in advance as possible and I'll do my best to work that schedule around so I may accommodate you. I have quite a few pets of my own and do not have space in my home for boarding, so all of my services will take place in your home. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have, or to set up a meet and greet. **I require a meet and greet for all new clients. This is free of charge, and allows me to meet you and your pet(s) in person, that way we are all comfortable with each other and you do not have someone in your home that you have never met.**

Mary Gray was wonderful! I have a lot of pets (7 dogs, 1 cat and 2 horses) and she did a great job caring for everyone. As an owner of multiple animals it is much more affordable to have a pet sitter than board in a kennel and allows them to be more comfortable. As a veterinarian I appreciate that she is a vet tech and can not only recognize a small issue but act accordingly! I have animals on medications and she made sure no one missed a dose. All of my pets loved her, she even allowed all of my pups to sleep with her at night! She sends picture updates and left my home in better condition than when I left. Will definitely be using her every time I need a sitter!! Trust her wholeheartedly!! Thank you again Mary!!!
Great for our girls!
Mary did a spectacular job! She went above and beyond to make sure our 2 dogs were taken care of. One got sick and she was able to help him feel comfortable while we were gone. She did an amazing job. Looking forward to her helping us out again :)

I don't have breed preferences. I just need to know the basics. Is your dog friendly towards other dogs? Does he have health problems I should be aware of? Where is his favorite place to go? Are there activities (like fetch) that he LOVES? Anything quirks your pup may have that I need to be aware of.
A typical day
I'll be sticking close to your home for walks. If you have a fenced in yard, we will spend lots of time playing in it as well. For the safety of your pup, if there is not a fenced in area for them to play in, they will be on leash. Your pup may be well trained, and comes to you when called, however, they may not be as apt to come to me when I call them, and I do not want to risk your pups safety.
