Pet care experience
I’m a professional musician - performer, educator, and recent UM alumna. My schedule can be quite flexible. I love dogs but unfortunately can’t have my own just yet. My sister likes to call me the “animal whisperer.” I’m not sure about that, but I spoil her dogs - multiple walks a day and lots of attention. They love me! I enjoy being outside and I’m a runner, even in the winter! I work from home a lot of the time, so dog walking and sitting works very well with my lifestyle and schedule, and I find it to be a stress reliever. I can’t wait to meet your dog!

Mary stayed overnight at our home with our pup for two nights. She was fantastic with Selina, who can be a little aloof with new sitters. Selina seemed happy when we came home, and obviously was given lots of attention. The home was also in great condition. We can’t wait to book with Mary again!

Mary has been walking our very energetic springer spaniel for several months now. She is dependable and comes when scheduled. She is easy to communicate with. I gave her a few suggestions about our dog's behavior and she keeps them in mind when dealing with him. I was concerned that he might pull her around but I think she probably handles him better than I do! Mary has a good sense of humor which makes her fun to interact with, and I guess our dog thinks so too because he's very excited when she shows up! I have not had Mary housesit and take care of our dog when we are out of town yet, but I would totally trust her in such a situation. We feel very lucky that we have found Mary to help us give our dog the exercise he needs.

A typical day
I'm great at spoiling your pup and giving them lots of attention. We will play games with their favorite toys, and go for plenty of walks or runs. I like to explore the neighborhood and nearby parks/woods. Lots of pets and cuddles, too (if they allow)! I play it safe and keep them away from other animals.
