My family has had pets for my entire life-- dogs, horses, pigs, chickens-- and I grew up caring for them. I studied equine science at Delaware Valley University, during which time I worked and volunteered at horse farms and animal rescues. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of animals of all sizes. While in college, I also worked as a veterinary assistant, where I practiced animal restraint, first aid, and more advanced animal care. I have two Shepard/ Elkhound mixes who love to play, go for walks, and snuggle. We now live on 3 acres and access the the river behind our home!!
