Pet care experience
I've been a pet-owner all of my life and I known how important they are to us. I have been dog/cat sitting for over 10 years and come with a list of references and great expertise. No task is too big or out of the ordinary; pets come with as many personality traits and quirks as we do, so I am happy to oblige with whatever they or you need. I have personal and professional experience with seniors and medically-needy pets.

Mary has watched my 2 huskies several times over the years. She is always forthcoming with any issues mybdogs may have while im gone and how she handled it. My sister uns a doggie day care buisness and regularly calls on Mary to help house sit when her work load becomes too much. Mary is a great choice for love and affection to your dog second to only your own personal care towards your pet!

Currently, any pet-sitting would need to occur at the owner's home. I have a reliable SUV for travel and would love nothing more than to take trips to hike or walk. If dog parks are your thing, I am down for that but when I pet-sit, I typically prefer to steer clear of dog parks and would rather spend one-on-one time with baby either at home or in a more controlled environment. I have a strict leash policy...I'm sure your baby is excellent off leash; however, anytime out of the home or a secured fenced-in area will be spent haltered and/or leashed.

I think it is most important to know what makes your dog happy or upset. Being away from you will be hard enough, so I will never want to add to that stress. I like to know how they liked to be approached and are they physically affectionate; can I give hugs and nose boops, do they hate their feet being touched, etc. I have no breed preferences but I have a HUGE soft spot for the pitties!
A typical day
I like to keep the same routine (or as close to) what your baby is used to as best as I can. We can do walks, home play, hikes, and car rides (my vehicle is pet-friendly.) I tend to steer clear of dog parks when I babysit, just to avoid any unnecessary issues that would be out of my control. Belly rubs and couch snuggles will be endless!

Right now my schedule is staggered but I typically work a 10 hour shift. Pet care could take place prior to and immediately after work for me and my days off have open availability.
