Hello friends!!! My name is Mary and I LOVE animals. I've been taking care of pets since I was 8yo. I had a cat and a turtle that I loved very much, but the love of my life was definitely my first dog, a Lhasa Apso named Tori. I got her when I was in high school, and since then I have been a proud dog mom to 4 other babies. I'm here to offer my services as a dog walker and pet sitter. I'm available for morning, mid-day and evening/night walks in Roosevelt Island, Upper East Side, Upper West side and Astoria. I currently work part-time in the afternoons in the UWS and live in Roosevelt Island (which is in walking distance to UES and Astoria). Life in NYC is pretty expensive for a single dog mom, so I'm looking to expand my horizons and help people care for their fur babies in my free time. I'm very experienced with dogs. I always had 2-3 dogs as pets at the same time since 2003, so I'm used to walking and caring for a few babies at the same time. The safety and well being of your pet is always my main concern. I have already been fully vaccinated for covid-19 and still follow all the protocols for social distancing and hygiene. I've been a children's teacher (Performing Arts & ESL) for most of my adult life and have also done a lot of babysitting human children, but I promise I'm just as good with fur babies as I am with human ones... plus, I like dogs better than people and would love to help you provide your furry friends with a fun time.
