After my first experience was not great and after struggling to find a sitter that would offer the level of service and care I would want my dog to have I joined Rover to do exactly that! I've grown up with pets my entire life and love all kinds! I currently have one spoiled golden daughter named Gunner. She is almost 2 years old and is living her best spoiled life. She loves swimming and interacting with all people and animals. (If your dog loves to swim this is the place for them!) A bit about me personally, like many of you due to covid I've transitioned to working from home full-time which has allowed me to open my home and schedule to caring for more pets. We always have two guest rooms available so all pets who stay here will be sleeping indoors. I take pride in keeping my home clean and orderly (aside from play time when toys and balls will be scattered all over). All dog toys are washed and sanitized every night. All doggie water and food bowls are sanitized nightly as well. I don't leave stagnant water bowls inside or outside ever. Instead, I fill up all containers daily with fresh water. I strongly believe pets are like kids and if they are in a messy dirty environment, it doesn't allow them to be able to relax and enjoy their vacation. Whether their stay is just for a few hours or weeks, my goal is to always provide for them a safe, fun and relaxing environment. All vacationers are treated in the exact way I'd want someone to care for my baby and can't wait to host yours! Please note all sitters set their own schedules, times, and limitations, these are mine. So, what do you get if you book with me? DAYCARE: Choose this option if you need time to go to work, a special event or just need some time to catch up on some errands. Drop off any time after 7am and pickup is before 10:30pm. My rate doesn’t change if they are here for an hour or the full day. BOARDING: Choose this service if you need to leave your pooch overnight. For this option you also have the option to drop them off any time after 7am and pick up the next day before 10:30pm. Example: You can leave your pooch on Monday morning at 7am and pick them up Tuesday night at 10:30pm and the rate stays the same. Whether you book me or with another sitter on here, here are a few tips as a pet parent. If time permits, ask to do an in-person meet and greet. That will give you time to meet the sitter, see the space your baby will be staying in and meet anyone else who will be in the house during their stay. If you're sensitive about smoking, ask the sitter if it's a smoke-free household. Those were the two biggest mistakes I made on my first visit. I didn't realize meet and greets were an option. The household was very dirty in the images the sitter sent me and when I picked up my 3-month-old baby, the sitter was been sitting in her car smoking waiting for me to arrive. Learn from me. <3
