Reliable and loving pet sitter!

Pet care experience

*I am 2x vaccinated and boosted *Please review my five-star testimonials! I've had some truly wonderful clients this year!* * I reply to requests within 15-30 minutes unless I'm in class, in which case you can expect a response within 2 hours :) Hello! Looking for a reliable walker or sitter? I'm your person! I have been dog walking and sitting for Portlanders for 10ish years (in human years) and expanded here on Rover a couple of years ago. I'm a part-time graduate student and work from home, which makes it easy for us to set a date to talk about your pet companion needs! I have no pets of my own and I love doting on your special pet, whether for a walk, a daycare, or an overnight. I enjoy caring for pets of all ages and have trained puppies (I know not to leave my shoes lying around!) as well as elderly and medically sick animals. I've also done a ton of cat sitting (and chicken sitting, actually) so if you have other special pets in the home, just let me know. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s)!

Mary is amazing! Extremely communicative and attentive. Our dog is a border collie (energetic!) and she was great about accommodating his activity and emotional needs. She took excellent care of our home and even offered to do extra chores if needed. We got daily photos/videos and updates while we were gone, which was so helpful! We’ve never felt more comfortable having someone else watch our dog and our house. Thank you so much Mary!

Information Mary D. would like to know about your pet

It any of the following apply, please let me know in your intro message to me, so I know what to pay attention to when walking and/or watching over your pet: - leash aggression or aggressive tugging (what are the triggers? Other dogs, crows, squirrels?) - if the pet isn't fully potty trained or "goes" when in new environments - for elderly pets, how long they can walk and if they have any signs of hearing loss ? Thank you!

A typical day

Does your dog enjoy hiking, running or long walks on the beach? I'm an avid outdoors person and a furry companion makes it twice as fun! I am a compassionate person and truly enjoy spending time with dogs and attending to their needs, personality, and quirks. I know how lonesome a pup can become when their human family is away and I have all sorts of tricks for easing symptoms of separation anxiety of all types (chewing, barking, whimpering, fasting etc.) Looking forward to hearing from you!
