I love everything about dogs: their smiles, their energy, their playfulness. Pet-sitting is wonderful because it gives me a companion to take care of, play with, and shower with love and attention. What more could I ask for? Every day for a dog in my care is special. They’re celebrated just for being themselves! I take lots of photos, share treats, give belly rubs, and get the pup outside for all the playtime and exercise they need. Dogs love being with me, and my goal is to give them the best possible vacation so they never have a moment to miss their humans. They can depend on me! I give unconditional love and care. I’ve always loved animals, but wasn’t able to have dogs growing up. Right now, I’m thinking about becoming a foster parent for pups. My experiences as a pet-sitter have been deeply rewarding on every level. Each dog teaches me so much! I’ve worked with all sizes, many breeds, and dogs with every sort of personality. As a teacher, I have lots of downtime in the summer to travel, hike, do yoga, kayak, read, bake...and play with pups! My boyfriend is frequently away, so having a doggy guest keeps me engaged, focused, and happily entertained. I love trying new things, having adventures, and staying active. I live in a three-story townhome in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood. There’s a cozy patio and a great balcony where we can enjoy the outdoor breezes, and we’ll frequently venture further out for potty breaks. When we’re not out for a trek, we might be enjoying naptime with serious cuddles. Or playing an intense game of fetch in a local park!
