Pet care experience
First of all it goes without saying that I love dogs. I’ve had dogs all my life of all sizes from German Shephards to Pomeranians. I have a Pomeranian who I’ve put through intensive training and have learned a lot about on and off leash walking. I am familiar using martingale collars, harnesses, and all other sorts of walking collars. I also have crate trained and house trained dogs! If you are looking for someone knowledgeable who loves dogs to care for your pup then you’ve found them! I will definitely know what I’m doing for any special requests or training for walking or drop in visits. Please feel free to let me know if your dog is in training or is just looking for a good walk in the San Diego sun.

Mary has watched my two dogs for me for over 4 years. She is very caring, loving and responsible. I have two large dogs that can be a handful at times and she does an amazing job. I would highly recommend and trust her with your fur babies.
We have an 8 month old German Shorthaired Pointer and Mary has been pet sitting him since we got him about 6 months ago. We also have two adult cats (ages 2 and 5) that she has been watching since they were kittens. Mary is excellent! With our cats, she not only cleans the litter box, feeds, and makes sure water bowls are clean and full, but she also brings out their favorite toys, plays with them and gives them pets. The cats love her! With our GSP, she is extremely attentive to his needs as a larger breed. She will normally throw a frisbee or ball for him for about 30 mins (he has a lot of energy!!). She also gives him snuggles and love every time she is there. My favorite thing about Mary is that she is very attentive to the pets. For example, if Copper (our GSP) had a suspicious looking bowel movement or if one of the cats was acting sluggish, she ALWAYS checks-in to let us know what is going on. Again, Mary is a responsible, caring, and loving pet sitter and I would recommend her any day!
Mary has a genuine love for all animals and a lifelong fondness for dogs. She is experienced, responsible, and has never meet a dog of any breed that she didn’t adore. I count on her to give my dog the loving care he deserves and return him to me safe and happy. Dogs love Mary, and she loves them!
