Hi there! I am a lifetime dog lover who has helped raise a Chocolate Lab, Toy Poodle, and special needs Boston Terrier. Once I moved to NYC, I became a dog walker, but I'm eager to provide more personal dog care. I am at NYU getting a degree in Anthropology but have plans to apply to veterinarian school, and would love to get more experience closely caring for other's pets. I am also a serious runner and miss running with my sturdy chocolate lab- I could exercise the dog well if requested. My family rescued a heavily abused Boston Terrier who also had a plethora of health problems, and that experience taught me a lot about caring for dogs. First, I got really good at clinical matters such as hiding pills in food along with administering eye drops and shots. But more importantly, he taught me that any dog can be loved and will love you back, as long as you are gentle and take your time with it. There's nothing more rewarding than having a dog trust you and keeping them happy! One final thing that I love about caring for other's dogs is allowing owners to have freedoms of their own, while still providing love and care for their dog- through me! Life is complicated, especially in the city, and I'm available to help keep the owner, and their dog, happy.
