I had my own black lab for 11 years, after he died I fostered for 2 months, Just now had opportunity to dog sit for a week & it was a win-win for both the owner & myself & hubby. Really planned to foster again but has not happened, found this site so maybe I should dog sit for a hobby & a little extra spending money. I would treat your dog as if it were my own. Stay home except for Sundays gone to church 3 hrs & one shopping day a week which is flexible. Dog would be in family room with dog door to back fenced patio if i had to be gone a short time when keeping a dog, like if i kept one for a week or more. 1 day stays I would be sure to stay home, your dog would be my companion as i work in or outside. I am home mostly, My only scheduled weekly event is church on Sunday mornings. Shop and errands maybe one other day a week if needed. I care for your pet as if it were my own. Most dogs learn to use dog door to fenced patio even if they have never used one.
