I have been a dog owner all my life and truly see them as a reflection of our better selves. I have a lab-mix rescue (40lbs) who is friendly with all dogs and cats who will be at my home as well. I have baby gates to separate the animals if necessary as well as cameras in-home to monitor if I am away to the store/work. As the owner of a dog who has previously torn,yet healed from a CCL injury, I am adept as caring for elderly, infirm, and special needs animals. I am comfortable giving medicine, supporting during potty breaks, and other support. While your pet is with me I will treat them as my own with snuggles on the couch (if you allow), coving up with blankets, and even sharing my bed to give them a sense of home and security while they are here. I encourage you to bring a few toys and blankets/bedding from home to help them remain calm and comfortable during their stay. I will send pictures daily as well as give them lots of play time while I am home from work. I have a teenager how Leo live to cuddle with and play with the animals that visit with us.
