Large Fenced Yard w/ a therapy dog
Pet care experience
I am available for day dogsitting and boarding friendly house trained dogs. Please make sure to have time to meet my dog and I before you need my services to ensure you are leaving your dog(s) with someone you can trust and feel comfortable with. I grew up with a dog from a very young age. Many people have asked me to dog sit for their dogs over the years. I am reliable, dependable and trustworthy. We own a Golden/Irish 4 year old male who is a certified therapy dog. I used to want to be a dog trainer so I trained him to be a therapy dog. I am experienced with various sizes of dogs. We have a fenced 1/2 acre of yard where the dogs can play together. I make sure to take care of the dogs as if they are my own dog so they receive the best care. I also like to send pictures to the owners to put their mind at ease whenever they are in my care.

Mary is one of the most dependable people I know. I am someone who likes to over-communicate details about what our dog needs when he is being watched by others, so will leave a long extensive list of things. Mary will not only think of more questions to ask, she will take initiative to care for our lab in ways that make his time away from us special and fun. Mary is someone who knows dogs well, and can read what is going on for them, what they enjoy, and how to earn their respect. She has repeatedly offered me advice on how to train our young lab, and modeled for me how to be kind, yet firm. In addition to all of this, Mary's home has a large fenced-in yard, so dog gets plenty of time outdoors--in addition to the regular walks she takes him on. I can't say enough good things about the pet care that Mary has provided for us!
Mary has cared for not only our dogs, but our children! She is a gentle, caring young woman who loves animals and has a natural gift with them. Her dog is so well behaved and he sets a great example for all of Mary's furry "guests". Baxter and Harvey love their visits with Mary!!
Mary is an amazing dog sitter! She is truly in charge of the pack. With a very big fenced in yard, dog park across the street, and great neighborhood for walks Mary keeps her dogs active and well cared for. It is comforting to know your pup is in good hands when you're away and Mary provides that assurance.
Mary took care of my then 4 month old puppy, Willow, for three weeks while I was overseas. Willow was high-energy, not fully housebroken, nor completely leash trained, and needed a lot of attention. Mary was the most wonderful person to care for my dog because, first of all she is an amazing communicator. She always gave me updates on how Willow was doing along with photos. This also showed how responsible she was. She cared for Willow as if she was her own and picked up on things that she needed help with and worked on it, trained her, and gave me advice on how I can continue working with her My puppy learned to walk on a leash better and learned to better socialize with people and other dogs while in Mary's care. And most importantly, she has so much love for dogs. I highly recommend her as a dog caregiver.
