Mary Anne was very quick to respond to all my messages and was very pleasant when we met her in person. It appeared our dog had a great time playing in the yard with the other dogs.

MaryAnn’s place was perfect for Mandi and very convenient for us as we headed into Chicago for a wedding.

We treat your dogs like our own!

I have been dog sitting for about 5 years, and for the past 2 years, I have been pet sitting full time. I have experience in administering oral medication, eye drops as well as injections. I love dogs of all ages. Senior dogs have a very special place in my heart and understand their needs and special attention they require. I believe dogs should be part of the family with lots of attention, affection, stimulation ...

What Mary Anne would like to know about your dog

I don't have a breed preference as I have had experience in the very tiny to the very big dogs (my schnauzer is 10 pounds and my doberman is 95 pounds!). If a meet and greet is set up, I do have a questionnaire that I can use as a reference as well as make notes on Rover.

Important facts that I feel are necessary include: What is his/her quirks are and the kind of "naughty" behavior to look for while in my care and any other information you feel I must know about. None of this will make or break a decision to book a stay. I simply use this information so I can determine how much supervision your pet will require.

When Mary Anne watches your pet

Here's where we'll take our walks
I usually walk my dogs around my neighborhood. There is very little traffic and I feel it is safe to walk around my neighborhood any time of the day. My dogs and I usually walk twice a day. They are like clockwork: Around 9:30 a.m. and about 4:30 pm, they usually nudge me, reminding me that it's time for their walk. Weather permitting, I like to take my dogs to the dog park here in Portage or we will go to Portage Lakefront and Riverwalk and go for a small walk.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
Your dog's preference, of course! They can sleep on my couches, carpet, my bedroom, office, bed. I have an guest room with a king size bed where I can sleep with them if that is what they are used to. You dog will have full range of my home. I will block the basement stairs if your pet cannot see very well or if they are older and can't go up and down stairs.

Time I'll spend with your dog
Your dog will be with me 24 hours of the day. Should I need to run an errand, have an appointment, etc., my husband will stay to care for the dogs or I will separate them in different rooms should I feel the need.
