Home Full-Time/Big back yard!

Pet care experience

My husband and I both work from home and our life pretty much revolves around our pets: three dogs and a cat. We understand how important it is to have a pet sitter who loves and cares for animals and we'll treat every dog as if they are our own. We have a positive energy in our home which I believe makes it easier for new dogs to settle in. I enjoy cuddling with the dogs and petting them so they feel welcomed. It is important to be notified if the dog is a barker since we both work from home. My husband takes calls on a regular basis and I occasionally have conference calls. And if the dog is a barker, a crate provided so that I can take a call in another room. If the dog is not a barker but has anxiety issues, I will keep the dog at my side during a call or have my husband stay with the dog if I need to be extra focused. Weekends starting from Friday after 2pm thru Monday morning at 9am are available for overnight boarding. We are happy during this time period to be as flexible with dogs that need extra care such as elderly dogs that need to go out frequently for potty breaks or need extra attention whether it's cuddling up on the sofa or hanging out on our back deck in the summer. We will dog sit for a week or longer if it is a dog we've had in our home on a regular basis. We want to make sure that the dog is happy and comfortable being in our home and that we know that we can provide the best care for it especially for a long stay.

Mary Ann did a drop in today for our Ratcha, Stewie, on short notice (thank you!!). As usual, she was wonderful, walking him, feeding him and playing fetch, his favorite game. Thanks for another job well done, Mary Ann!

Mary Ann did everything to make Stewie’s stay enjoyable. She sent us a note and pics during Stewie’s day care stay and made sure the dogs all got along. Thanks Mary Ann! :)

Mary Ann and her husband are wonderful with our Oliver. He lives going to their home. We never worry while he is in their care. Mary Ann is very sweet and sends us photo and text updates throughout his stay. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a loving sitter for their dog.

Information Mary Ann S. would like to know about your pet

We're looking for a small-medium size dog, fixed, very well socialized, house trained, up-to-date on shots and low energy as we cannot guarantee a walk if we're on a deadline. We require a meet&greet before the first stay. If a person has two small dogs that need to be watched at the same time, we may be able to dog sit depending on the time frame. Our limitations are due to us both working from home and being able to crate the dogs if I have to head out to a meeting or get on a conference call; and if we already have another dog that day.

A typical day

We have a large back yard fully fenced and the dogs are let out every 1.5-2 hours for potty breaks. We don't take the dogs for walks as we play catch in the back yard to burn off energy or as I like to call it, the wiggles.
