Dogs have been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've always had a dog in my family. I cannot imagine not having a dog. I have had a German Shepard, a Golden Retriever,a Siberian Husky, mutts, a pair of dachshunds , and am now the proud "Moma" of a American Bulldog/Boxer mix (Louie) and a pit bull mix (Tanner). I have volunteered as a dog walker for Orange County Animal Services and I presently volunteer for the PUPPY Development Center and the PAWS program at UNC-Chapel Hill's Farm at Penny Lane. Whenever I am away from home for more than a couple of hours, I wonder how they are and if they are lonely or bored. I would make a great sitter/ walker because I know how important it is to a pet owner to know that their dog is being well cared for. I know how important it is to the dog to have interesting things to do and human contact. If you were to choose me as your sitter, you could have the assurance that your dog would be doted on and loved for the time I spend with them. I DO love dogs!! They know it when they meet me!!
