I am a lifelong dog lover and have been walking dogs professionally for five years. I have also had the pleasure of fostering 18 rescue dogs (so far) in my home. I am very focused on meeting your dog's needs, dietary restrictions, keeping them intellectually stimulated, and giving them lots of love and praise. They are free to roam the house and go on the furniture. I have a small fenced-in backyard for potty breaks and a screened-in porch where everyone likes to relax and "guard" the neighborhood. I have a Brussels Griffon mix who likes to keep everyone in order (if I let him! LOL!) and one cat who tolerates all but the most annoying dogs. The cat has places to escape to if need be. My experience dog sitting with Rover.com has been great. I send lots of pictures and updates because I know how difficult it is to be away from your "baby". I look forward to spoiling and loving your furry family member while you're away. I live only four miles away from the Norfolk International Airport and am only a couple of miles away from the entrance to I 64.
