Two years ago, I was responsible for the daily care of an elderly pug, who suffered from arthritis and bowel issues. I would house him at my apartment for multiple overnights throughout the year, and take him on daily walks in the nearby park. This past summer, I was responsible for the daily walks and feeding of a 2 year old golden retriever. Every day, we would go on long walks, play fetch outside, and chase frisbees. This past year, I have been the caretaker of a 130 pound 7 year old wolfhound, who is extremely cuddly and has a heart of gold. He is one of the highlights of each day, we also go on walks together and cuddle on the couch. In addition, I also have my own dog; she’s super sweet and gets along with every dog. We go to the off leash dog park often and she loves to chase squirrels in our yard.
