Pet care experience
I can’t remember a time when I haven’t had a dog in my life. Friends and family call me for medical advice for their pets and lean on me for daycare and overnight stays. One request from a neighbor with a sick puppy turned into a six week stay. I had a diabetic dog and currently have a dog with epilepsy so I am confident administrating shots and pills.
Reviews
Another great stay! Martha and Harry are wonderful sitters who deserve more than the 5 available stars.
Martha and Harry were superb sitters for our two senior dogs. They were so accommodating to our dogs' quirks, and given Martha's experience we felt confident in her administering medicines to our epileptic dog. Their pup Nash is an absolute delight, and we can only hope he is able to pass along his good manners to our dogs! Our pups were happy and calm at Martha's, always the sign of a safe, excellent dog environment. We will definitely book with Martha and Harry again -- these folks are gems!
Martha is absolutely wonderful. Our dog and our family love being around Martha.
Definitely 5 star. Our dog was given exquisite care. Could not ask for better.

I have a dog friendly home and fenced yard which I share with my husband and Welsh Terrier Nash (from Nashville). Nash spends every Wednesday at Camp Good puppy where he consistently receives A+‘s on his report card. He is well socialized and loves entertaining other dogs in his home.

Information Martha S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know what I can do to make your pet's stay the best possible experience. I will need to know any allergies or quirky habits (like eating socks) so your pet can be protected in my care. I also strongly recommend you give your veterinarian my name in case of emergency (preventative only - I hope to never use this).
A typical day
A typical day will start with a trip to Lake Vancouver where we will take a long walk on the trails and stop to smell all the smells! If the owner approves we will head to Starbucks for a puppuccino (a pup cup filled with whipped cream) before we head home.

Availability
I retired from a career I loved so I’m available 24/7 to pursue my other passion ~ dogs! The owner of a local pet store heard I retired and asked if I would come work for him. I only fill in at the shop when the owner is sick or needs a day off so that leaves lots of free time for me to host your pet!
